The 2016 China Construction Machinery Industry Annual Statistical Report Released

According to document No.01 [2017] of CCMA “Notice on Completing the 2016 Construction Machinery Industry Annual Report”, with the great support of relevant branches and enterprises, the Statistical & Information Department of CCMA spent the past six months completing compilation of the report.
 
230 enterprises submitted their data for the 2016 industry annual report, with the number of participating enterprises growing year on year. This is reflected in support from enterprises on the work in collecting statistical information and attention to the development of the industry. When the report is completely finished and printed, we will distribute it to the enterprises that have submitted the data, as a summary and historical reference for the development of the industry in 2016.
 
The Construction Machinery Industry has been through many years of gradual decline in market demands, where enterprises were facing difficulties in running business, and weakness was showing in key markets; the whole industry development was being tested. Under those conditions, the entire industry worked tirelessly on implementing optimal structure, transforming and upgrading itself, strengthening management and improving efficiency and other initiatives in the year of 2016.
 
Many positive signs manifested in the industry after releasing of a series of national structural adjustment and improvements to efficiency policies. In the second half of 2016, the revenues and major product sales of enterprises both greatly improved. According to the statistics of CCMA, after deducting non-comparable factors, duplicate data and non-construction machinery industry incomes, the whole China Construction machinery industry achieved operating income of 479.5 billion RMB in 2016, an increase of 4.93% from 2015.
 
CCMA has been in charge of the compilation of Construction machinery industry annual report for more than twenty years; it’s generally supported and respected by the majority of enterprises. Most of the member enterprises have all submitted the data for the annual report and particularly the large-scale backbone enterprises have shown strong support of the work as it provides an objective basis for the development of the industry, as well as government and enterprise decision making.
